NUR 202 – Introductory Statistics in Health Care is a junior-level course in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Miami. The course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of statistics and their application in health care. Students will learn about the different types of data, the measures of central tendency and dispersion, the principles of probability, and the statistical methods used to analyze data in health care research.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 202 – Introductory Statistics in Health Care, students will be able to:
