NUR 305 – Issues in Health Disparities is a senior-level course in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Miami. The course examines the causes and consequences of health disparities, which are differences in health outcomes that are associated with social, economic, or demographic factors. Students will learn about the different types of health disparities, the factors that contribute to them, and the strategies for addressing them.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 305 – Issues in Health Disparities, students will be able to:
