NUR 307 – Pharmacology is a senior-level course in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Miami. The course introduces students to the fundamental principles of pharmacology and their application in nursing practice. Students will learn about the different classes of drugs, the mechanisms of action of drugs, and the adverse effects of drugs. They will also learn about the use of drugs in the treatment of common health problems such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and cancer.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 307 – Pharmacology, students will be able to:
