NUR 311 – Theories and Concepts of Nursing is a senior-level course in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Miami. The course introduces students to the fundamental theories and concepts of nursing. Students will learn about the history of nursing, the different nursing theories, and the application of nursing theories to practice. They will also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through case studies and group discussions.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 311 – Theories and Concepts of Nursing, students will be able to:
