NUR 314 – Health Assessment and Promotion is a senior-level course in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the University of Miami. The course introduces students to the concepts and skills of health assessment and promotion. Students will learn how to conduct a comprehensive physical examination, to identify and assess risk factors for chronic diseases, and to develop health promotion interventions for individuals and communities.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 314 – Health Assessment and Promotion, students will be able to:
