NUR 333 – Pharmacology (3) at Utica University is a three-credit undergraduate course that teaches students about the principles and practices of pharmacology, including the following topics:
- The nature and classification of drugs
- The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs
- The adverse effects and interactions of drugs
- The use of drugs to treat common diseases and disorders
Students in NUR 333 will develop the knowledge and skills they need to safely and effectively administer medications to patients. They will also learn how to educate patients about their medications and how to monitor for potential adverse effects.
