NUR 446 – Care of the Pediatric Population (3) at Utica University is a three-credit undergraduate course that introduces students to the principles and practices of pediatric nursing.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- The growth and development of children and adolescents
- Common health conditions in children and adolescents
- The assessment and management of common pediatric health problems
- The nursing care of children and adolescents across the lifespan
- The psychosocial and cultural aspects of pediatric nursing
