NUR 691A: Family Nurse Practitioner Integration Practicum at Keiser University is a graduate-level capstone practicum course that provides students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned throughout the MSN program with a primary care NP specialization to real-world clinical practice.
The course is designed to help students develop their clinical skills and confidence as family nurse practitioners.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of NUR 691A: Family Nurse Practitioner Integration Practicum, students will be able to:
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients of all ages and with a variety of health conditions
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care
- Demonstrate advanced practice nursing leadership and advocacy
