NUR 691A: Family Nurse Practitioner Integration Practicum at Keiser University is a graduate-level capstone practicum course that provides students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned throughout the MSN program with a primary care NP specialization to real-world clinical practice.

The course is designed to help students develop their clinical skills and confidence as family nurse practitioners.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of NUR 691A: Family Nurse Practitioner Integration Practicum, students will be able to:

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients of all ages and with a variety of health conditions
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care
Demonstrate advanced practice nursing leadership and advocacy
Conduct and disseminate research to improve the quality of patient care
