NUR802 is the second course in a two-course sequence that focuses on the DNP project. In NUR802, students will develop the methodology for their DNP project and submit their project to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for approval.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Developing a research design
- Selecting and justifying research methods
- Developing data collection tools and instruments
- Protecting human subjects in research
- Writing an IRB proposal
NUR802 is a seminar-based course with a strong emphasis on student participation and discussion.
Students will participate in a variety of activities, including:
