NURS 223 is a two-credit undergraduate course that focuses on the unique nursing needs of the Hispanic community.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- The culture and history of the Hispanic community
- Health disparities affecting the Hispanic community
- Common health conditions among Hispanic patients
- Communication and relationship building with Hispanic patients and families
- Ethical and legal considerations in nursing care of Hispanic patients
