NURS 3120 – Foundations of Nursing at Clemson University is a junior level course that introduces students to the nursing profession and its core nursing concepts. The course provides an overview of the history of nursing, the scope of nursing practice, and the ethical principles that guide nursing care. Students will also learn about the nursing process, the role of the nurse in the healthcare team, and communication skills.
Course Description:
- Focuses on therapeutic nursing interventions, including selected psychomotor skills, communication skills, and teaching/learning.
