NURS 425 is a three-credit undergraduate course that prepares students to provide nursing care to individuals and families during times of transition and decision-making, such as pregnancy, birth, and end of life.

- The physiology and pathophysiology of pregnancy and childbirth
- Labor and delivery
- Postpartum care

- Ethical considerations in pregnancy, birth, and end-of-life care
