NURS 445 is a three-credit undergraduate course that expands on the knowledge and skills gained in NURS 365, Clinical Pathophysiology and Pharmacology for Nursing Practice I.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Advanced pathophysiology of common diseases
- Advanced pharmacology of medications used to treat common diseases
- Pharmacotherapeutics for specific patient populations
- Interprofessional collaboration in managing complex patients
- Ethical considerations in pharmacotherapeutics
NURS 445 is a lecture and discussion-based course with a strong emphasis on case studies and problem-solving.
Students will participate in a variety of activities, including:
