Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply advanced knowledge of the pathophysiology and pharmacology of common adolescent and adult health conditions to the provision of primary care services.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of adolescents and adults, including physical, psychosocial, and cultural considerations.
- Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of adolescent and adult health conditions.
- Provide counseling and education to adolescents and adults on a variety of health topics, including preventive care, disease management, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide coordinated care to adolescents and adults.
